Unified Wholesale 1 year Water Heater Warranty
1-Year Replacement Warranty Terms and Conditions:
- 1. LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE Unified Wholesale (“Seller”) provides this limited warranty on the purchased water heater, warranting it to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date, as shown on the original purchase receipt.This warranty is limited to one-time replacement of the defective unit with the same or substantially similar model, subject to availability and at Unified Wholesale’s sole discretion. If a replacement part cannot be sourced within thirty (30) days of a verified claim, Unified Wholesale may, at its sole option, offer to replace the full unit or issue a refund not to exceed the original purchase price.
2. WARRANTY ACTIVATION AND TERM The warranty term begins on the purchase date listed on the original receipt.This warranty is non-transferable.The original receipt is required for any warranty claim to be processed. No receipt, no coverage.
3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED – WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS This limited warranty expressly excludes and does not cover the following:Any damage caused during loading, unloading, transport, installation, or removal of the water heater, whether performed by the customer or a third party.Any improper installation, including failure to follow manufacturer instructions, local codes, or use of incompatible components.DIY or unlicensed installations.Damage due to freezing, flooding, power surges, tampering, neglect, abuse, or improper operation.Any damage to personal property, structures, flooring, drywall, plumbing systems, or surrounding areas, even if resulting from water heater failure or leak.Any bodily injury or personal harm arising from product use or malfunction.Water heaters used in commercial, rental, multi-unit, or industrial settings unless explicitly agreed to in writing at the time of sale.Labor, installation, removal, plumbing, electrical, or contractor fees associated with a warranty claim.Any replacement unit or part provided under this warranty is not eligible for additional warranty coverage.
4. CLAIM PROCEDURE To initiate a warranty claim: Contact Unified Wholesale customer service.Provide your original purchase receipt and a detailed description of the issue.Bring the defective unit to the Unified Wholesale location for physical inspection and evaluation.(Unified Wholesale does not offer pick-up, shipping, or on-site service.)Unified Wholesale will make reasonable efforts to process valid claims promptly. If the claim is approved, and parts cannot be located within 30 days, a replacement unit or refund may be offered, at Unified Wholesale’s sole discretion.
5. VOIDING OF WARRANTY This limited warranty is void if the unit: Was installed by anyone other than a licensed plumber or contractor.Was installed or operated in a non-residential or prohibited setting.Was subjected to unauthorized modifications, repairs, or tampering.Was damaged due to transport, customer handling, or improper use.Was exposed to freezing conditions or not protected from environmental damage.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITYTo the maximum extent permitted by law, Unified Wholesale shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, or special damages, including but not limited to:Property damageLoss of use or downtimeLabor or contractor feesEmotional distress or inconveniencePersonal injury or deathUnified Wholesale’s total liability under this limited warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the water heater.
7. DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIESThis warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for any defect in the purchased product.UNIFIED WHOLESALE DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so this disclaimer may not apply to you.
8. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE This limited warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Utah (or Idaho, depending on purchase location), without regard to conflict-of-law principles.All disputes arising from this warranty shall be resolved exclusively by mediation first. In the event a resolution is not reached, disputes will be resolved exclusively by courts located in Weber County, Utah (or Bonneville County, Idaho, respectively). Both parties waive their right to a jury trial.If required by law or agreed upon mutually, binding arbitration may be used to resolve disputes, conducted in the same county listed above.
9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE By purchasing and retaining this product, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this 1-Year Limited Replacement Warranty, including all limitations, exclusions, and legal disclaimers stated above.
